Why Explorientation?
With the current fast pace of education, we at Explorientation have observed that many school-leavers are in need of a break from formal education and are looking to expand their skill-base and explore their motivation before moving on to further education. Likewise, graduates are often looking for an opportunity to broaden their horizons before continuing to study or entering the job market; whilst career breaks are often enhanced by a constructive time-out in the form of a Sabbatical.
At Explorientation our combined and varied international experience/contacts, along with our coaching skills, provide a unique and individual approach to a global time-out in what we call an EXPLO – time to explore and find orientation.

Meet the Team
Stephanie Reschke
Founder
Stephanie Reschke was born in Malaysia but brought up and educated in England. After studying she worked for Christies Auction House in London, before taking time out for an Explo to travel through Asia and Australia, before returning to work in London. Later, Stephanie moved to Africa where she worked in the Safari Industry, running camps such as the renowned Elephant-Back-Safari in the Okavango Delta. Subsequently, she was responsible for International Sales and Marketing for various Safari Operators in Southern as well as East Africa.
After living in Africa for 10 years, Stephanie returned to Europe to live in France before finally settling in Germany with her German husband. She continues to work for a renowned Safari Operator as their representative in central Europe and Stephanie has also attended the VIEL Coaching Course and is a registered ProfilPASS coach. She lives in Aumühle, Hamburg with her husband and three children.
Bettina Bergner
Workshops & Application Training
After studying International Economics in Germany and abroad, Bettina Bergner spent many years working primarily in sales in the retail industry including the Otto Group and several fashion companies before joining a Personnel Consultancy with diverse clients in 2007. Her strengths lie in creating assessment centres to recruit trainees for her clients. Bettina is a registered ProfilPASS coach. She is married and a mother of 3 children and lives in Bendestorf, Hamburg.
Jane Edge
Explorientation International
Jane Edge is our representative in South Africa who sources invaluable and credible wildlife and community projects/internships.
Jane is a real African insider: Not only a native South African, but she is also a philanthropy consultant with nearly 30 years experience within the conservation, tourism and financial services sectors in Africa.
She has helped headline, support and market many internationally renowned organisations such as the World Conservation Union, African Parks and a range of safari operators such as CC Africa (now called &Beyond). Jane was also responsible for the set up of the South African operation for U.K. Gap Year Company Africa-Asia Venture. In 2015, Jane was appointed to the Board of Fair Trade Tourism as well as launching her own consultancy, AfroThrophic, which promotes a wide range of charitable causes in Africa with a focus on wildlife conservation.
Dr. Isabel Creuznacher
Explorientation International
Dr. Isabel Creuznacher is our representative in Italy, based in Rome. Isabel studied Economics in Marburg and Madrid and completed her PhD on the topic “Personality Development to Entrepreneurial Competences in High School and University”.
Although Isabel offers worldwide customised programmes and seminars on “Entrepreneurial Personality” to companies, universities and high schools, her biggest passion is helping young people to rise to the challenges in their personal development. She has recently written an educational book on the subject, focusing on 2 young people leaving school and embarking on an Explorientation.
